The Prolight + Sound Guangzhou 2026 international exhibition and the specialized technological venue Visual X were held this year in Guangzhou. PLSG 2026 is the world’s largest and Asia’s most influential international trade fair for professional audio, lighting, stage equipment, as well as information and communication technologies (ICT). The exhibition was co-organized with the industry giant Messe Frankfurt.
Spanning an exhibition area of 220,000 square meters, the event featured 22 pavilions. It brought together 2,227 companies from around the globe, showcasing modern digital solutions, multimedia technologies, intelligent information display systems, and innovative developments in the field of artificial intelligence. The exhibition drew an audience of approximately 110,000 professional visitors.
During their visit, the company representatives familiarized themselves with the latest multimedia complexes, interactive displays, AI solutions, computer vision technologies, intelligent control systems, digital platforms, and state-of-the-art data visualization tools.
The exhibition also featured solutions for smart cities, transport infrastructure, digital communications, video surveillance, and modern visual monitoring systems areas that closely align with Kaztechnology’s core operations.
For instance, whereas cameras previously required a powerful remote server to "think," the trend in 2026 has shifted toward chips embedded directly into the camera bodies. Developers from Zowietek showcased PTZ cameras featuring NDI® 6 protocol support and built-in Edge AI Tracking algorithms. They can recognize objects, track traffic, or identify specific individuals in a crowd in real time, operate autonomously 24/7, and transmit uncompressed 4K video via Wi-Fi 6 or a single cable (PoE), significantly simplifying their deployment on city infrastructure elements.
The company's team was highly impressed by the sheer scale of the event, its high level of organization, and the abundance of innovative technologies on display. The exhibition served as an excellent platform for discovering global trends in AI, multimedia, digitalization, and the intelligent technologies of the future.
